Spexy Guy: @stopthepop
Specs: Ray-Ban/Wayfarer Rb. 5121 200 50.22 150 / T CE
Rx: [about] -5.00 Right/ [about] -5.00 Left - I couldn’t find my prescription, but rest assured I’ve been wearing glasses since I was four years old, and can’t live without [them]. I am nearsighted, and they are around minus five on both eyes. I also have astigmatism, making things duplicate when they get really close. (I’m sure others with astigmatism will recognize this issue :)
What the Spexy Guy says about his specs: “Once, when I was about 13 years old, I rode my bike to school even though it was in the middle of winter and the snow was laying deep (as it sometimes does in Norway). What happened was that I lost control of the bike down a slippery slope, fell on my face and broke my glasses. I lost one of the actual glasses from the frame, and had to get some new glasses later.
Some years later, it was spring and I was walking to school (not sure why I didn’t ride a bicycle that day), I saw something shine on the ground and sure enough: it was my old glass. Pretty dirty and scratched, but I’ve always found it pretty weird that the glass didn’t disappear/turn to dust/whatever after all those years.”
